Nesting

I have been nesting. It has been the most awesome, exhausting thing ever. I'm sure Trevor is completely ready for me to be done with this stage. Because I can't move all the furniture around that I would like to, I have to solicit his help and his to do list is getting long.
I finally completed "the girls room" as we are calling it. Stella will get to share her room and I'm sure its going to be a huge pain with a newborn, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. Because of the sizes of bedrooms in this little house, I decided to switch rooms with the girls, so they had the bigger bedroom. Trevor was not so keen on the idea, but I think it will work out much better.
After sanding, staining and varnishing, both new dressers are done. Her name is painted and Stella's bed is complete. Now all we need is a baby to fill it with.

Trevor and I's room needed some serious updating in this new smaller bedroom. After several attempts at rearranging we finally figured out how to position everything so there is room to walk around. Old houses don't put windows in the most logical spots.

It feels really good to have the rooms arranged and put together. The goal was to have them done before the vacation ended, and last night at 10pm we finished! As I was looking at my list of things to do before baby arrives, the "To Do's" are getting smaller and so are the days between now and delivery. I'm looking forward to just relaxing and hanging out with Stella and Trevor before all of our worlds get rocked.
