Monkey see, Monkey do.

WARNING: IF YOU LOVE GOLDFISH, DO NOT CONTINUE READING THIS. IF YOU GET OFFENDED IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

So a few weeks ago, we went to the annual "Cousins Party". This is the most outrageous family gathering one can imagine. Its a white elephant party that is legendary. I can remember my parents bringing home their gifts from a very young age. Since I've been married we've been invited to participate. And this year we got a gift that was, um, to say the least entertaining. My lovely brother donated this gift to the exchange, a 5 gallon bucket with 50 live goldfish swimming around in it. Yep we came home with 50 goldfish. I tried to pawn them off on to the neighbors decorative lawn fountain, but it was frozen. So the fish have been just swimming around in their bucket since a few weeks ago. I have kept the lid on tight and just tried to ignore them. But Trevor came home and decided that we needed to keep 1 fish and get rid of the next. He scrounged up a vase and scooped out 1 fish and left it swimming, "For Stella to play with!". Well what are we to do with the remaining fish? Trev decided to flush them. All of them. It took 9 flushes of the toilet, because what do you know the fish swim against the current of the toilet. Stella thought it was HILARIOUS to see all of those fishes in the toilet... She now walks into the bathroom with handfuls of her Goldfish Crackers and throws them in the toilet and laughs and laughs!
Monkey see Monkey do.

The next morning, that 1 fish sitting in the vase was floating, right next to a goldfish cracker.
