Bubbles

Stella has a hard time during rest time. She spends 90% of the time asking when rest time is over. So today I gave up on telling her to go back in her room and read a book, or play with her doll or just be quiet and we made bubble snakes instead.
To make bubble snakes you will need the following:
  • A Water Bottle
  • Old Sock
  • Tape
  • Dish Soap
  • a Diet Coke

First take your water bottle and cut the bottom off.
Then add your sock to the end and tape it. I was to lazy to find my duck tape, so painters tape worked nicely. Then add your dish soap to a bowl of water. I used a couple of tablespoons for a couple cups of water.
Then soak the sock in your soapy water and blow!
The longer your blow in your bottle the longer the snake will be!
Fortunately this little project took about 5 minutes to put together and unfortunately Stella was over it about 5 minutes after creating her first snake. Go figure.
Oh and the Diet Coke? You just need to drink that.
love love
